The Gift of Grace

DAY 3 OF 5

Grace for Others

We live in a world where people are quick to judge, cancel, and condemn. But as followers of Jesus, we are called to a different way—a way marked by grace. Grace extended to others appears as unity, patience, kindness and even love. Paul writes, “Bear with each other and forgive one another… Forgive as the Lord forgave you”(Colossians 3:13 NIV). We are each created beautiful, but we are each messy…#beautifulbutmessy. None of us can throw a stone.

Grace for others means choosing patience over irritation, kindness over harshness, and forgiveness over resentment. It’s not about excusing wrongdoing—it’s about releasing our right to seek revenge and trusting God with the outcome.

Jesus challenges us to forgive not just once or twice, but over and over again (Matthew 18:21–22). That’s not easy—but it’s exactly how He treats us. We are not to judge others. We are not to condemn others. Forgiveness is a choice of grace that allows us to live free from the burden of judgment and condemnation of others.

Today, ask the Lord to bring to mind someone who needs grace from you. They are a bit messy in places. Just like you, they are “perfectly imperfect.” It might be a family member, a friend, or even a stranger. Pray for them, release them to God, and take one step toward showing them the same grace and mercy you’ve been given.

About this Plan

The Gift of Grace

In a world marked by impatience, arguing, complaining, brokenness and chaos, where can we discover a life shaped by loving kindness? Is there a key that enables us to live in unity, love and true understanding? Can we learn to be patient with one another’s differences and extend compassion across our divides? In this plan, we will explore the GIFT OF GRACE – not only the grace we receive from God, but the grace we are called to give. Together, we’ll see how this divine gift transforms us, heals relationships, and reflects the very heart of Christ in our daily lives.
