Day 18 – Be a Light

"You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

Think About It:

Have you ever been in a really dark room when someone turned on a flashlight? That small light pushes away all the darkness! Jesus calls you His light in this world. When people around you are being mean, angry, or sad, your kindness can light up their day. When someone tells lies, your truthfulness shines bright. When others are being selfish, your loving actions glow like a beacon. You don't have to be perfect. Just let Jesus' light shine through you by treating others the way He would. His light in you is stronger than any darkness!

Lord, thank You that You use me to shine Your light. Help me shine brightly through my words and actions wherever I go today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
