Set Free: a Journey Through Galatiansਨਮੂਨਾ

A Life That Sows Well
Galatians 6 begins with a call to restoration—if someone is caught in sin, we should restore them gently, watching ourselves with humility (Galatians 6:1). This is the kind of community the gospel produces: one where we carry one another’s burdens and fulfill the law of Christ, which is love. Christian maturity isn’t shown in knowledge alone, but in how we care for each other.
Paul also teaches a sobering truth about sowing and reaping. When we sow to the flesh—choosing selfishness or sin—we reap corruption. But when we sow to the Spirit—choosing generosity, love, and obedience—we reap eternal life (Galatians 6:7–8). This principle invites us to evaluate what we’re investing in with our time, thoughts, and energy. Proverbs 11:18 reminds us that the one who sows righteousness gets a sure reward.
Paul concludes the letter by emphasizing what really matters: not external rituals, but becoming a new creation in Christ (Galatians 6:15). Our boasting is not in our effort but in the cross. We are free to love, to serve, and to plant seeds that honor God—and in due season, we will reap a harvest if we don’t give up.
Prayer:
Lord, help me sow to the Spirit in every part of my life. Give me the strength to keep doing good, even when I don’t see results right away. May my life reflect the love and power of a new creation in Christ. Amen.
