30 Days of Prayer: A Call to Care for the World's Most Vulnerableਨਮੂਨਾ

Day 6: Prayer for Protection from Violence
Reflection: In a world marked by conflict, abuse, and violence, children are often the most vulnerable victims. They cannot defend themselves against those who would harm them and they rely on others for protection. God positions himself as our fortress and defender, and he calls his people to be advocates for the defenseless.
When we pray for protection from violence, we're asking God to surround vulnerable children with his supernatural shield while also working through human agents of protection. This includes social workers, police officers, teachers, community leaders, and even ordinary citizens who refuse to look away from injustice. Scripture repeatedly calls us to defend the weak, protect the innocent, and stand against oppression. God's heart burns with righteous anger against those who harm children, and he promises to be their defender and avenger.
Today, let us pray for children trapped in violent situations, for those working to protect them, and for justice systems that prioritize child safety. May we be part of God's army of protection — standing guard over the most vulnerable among us.
