30 Days of Prayer: A Call to Care for the World's Most Vulnerableਨਮੂਨਾ

Day 18: Prayer for Healing from Sickness
Reflection: God is the Great Physician, and his heart breaks when his children suffer from illness and disease. Throughout Scripture, we see God's desire to heal and restore health to those who are sick.
When we pray for healing from sickness, we're asking God to demonstrate his healing power in the lives of children around the world. We're interceding for children battling malaria, malnutrition, HIV/AIDS, and countless other diseases that threaten their lives. We're also praying for access to medical care, for doctors and nurses who serve selflessly, and for medical breakthroughs that can save lives. God's healing can come through miraculous intervention, through medicine and medical care, or through supernatural strength to endure illness with grace. Sometimes healing comes in this life, and sometimes it comes in the next. But God's love for sick children never wavers and his presence sustains them through every moment of suffering.
Today, let us pray for sick children around the world, for their families who care for them, and for communities that provide medical support. May we be agents of God's healing love.
