How do hope and peace work together?

Peace comes to us when the Prince of Peace lives in us. Even in the most dreadful and unexpected situations, we can find peace. We have access to the peace that passes all understanding. This kind of peace makes no sense from a human point of view.

When you should be frazzled, a nervous wreck, discouraged and at your lowest point in life, you can find peace, peace that only Jesus brings to you.

The follower of Jesus filled with his Spirit is given peace as a fruit of Christ dwelling in us. The Apostle Paul encouraged us to allow the peace of Christ to dwell richly in us. The possibility of peace gives hope! The reality of peace provides hope.

I have hope because I know Jesus is with and provides what I need regardless of the situation.

“Peace to this house” means goodwill and wholeness (Luke 10:5 NIV). Once peace is a possibility, hope follows. Peace and hope are essential. What about healing?
