A Heart After God: Living From the Inside Outਨਮੂਨਾ

Have you ever found yourself surprised by what slips out of your mouth during an argument, a stressful moment, or even a casual conversation? It might have been a harsh remark, a complaint, or an unkind joke that you instantly wished you could take back. Often, those unplanned words reveal more about what's happening inside our hearts than we'd like to admit.
Think of your heart as a reservoir; whatever fills it spills out. When kindness, grace, and love overflow from within, it's a sign your heart is healthy and filled with the right things. But if bitterness, anger, or negativity keep bubbling to the surface, it might be time for a heart check.
What kind of words do you find yourself speaking most often? What do they say about what's truly going on inside you?
Think it Over
When you examine the words you speak each day, what do they reveal about the condition of your heart?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me to pay closer attention to what's filling my heart. Cleanse me from any bitterness, negativity, or anger that's settled there, and fill me with Your love, kindness, and grace. Let my words reflect You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
