The Revelation of Jesusਨਮੂਨਾ

Trusting the One Who Was Chosen
Of all the disciples, Jesus entrusted this revelation to John—not Peter, not James, not even Paul. Why? Because John was the beloved. He stayed close when others ran. He stood by the cross. He was entrusted with Mary. Jesus had a unique bond with him, and that intimacy led to trust.
John was exiled, aging, and likely weary when the heavens opened to him. And yet, Jesus still spoke. He didn’t choose John because of his strength, but because of his devotion. That speaks to us today. If we long for more revelation from God, we must pursue Him in devotion—not platform, not popularity.
Reflection Questions:
- In what areas of your life is God asking for deeper devotion?
- Do you trust that He speaks to you—even when you feel alone?
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for choosing those who remain faithful. I may feel hidden, but You see me. Give me the heart of John—a heart that stays close, that listens, and that receives what others may not. Speak, Lord. I’m listening. Amen.

About this Plan

The Book of Revelation has baffled believers for centuries—filled with strange creatures, cosmic battles, and cryptic symbols. But at its core, it’s not a mystery to fear; it’s a message to understand. In this four-day devotional, James Lasher offers a clear, Spirit-led look at the most misunderstood book of the Bible—from the perspective of a man who simply loves Jesus and takes His Word seriously. Through John’s eyes, you’ll rediscover that Revelation isn’t just about end-times events—it’s about the One who holds the end in His hands.
