Day 3: Intentional Evenings

Intentional mornings can turn into healthy evenings when you practice presence over perfection. But how? For years, I felt a complete disconnect from my morning intentions and my evening choices. At the beginning of the day, I would pray and commit my plans to the Lord and then slowly drift back into wrong thinking and contrary beliefs. If you’re in that cycle, it can feel defeating and even confusing. God wants to meet you at 5pm just as much as with your early morning coffee. He is the same and unchanging so we can rely on His character to carry us. It’s about consistently renewing our minds and having our thought life and our heart in alignment with His Truth.

You don’t have to numb out or feel scattered as you wind down the day or drift off to sleep. Imagine replacing that temporary “relief” with self care that is truly restorative and life giving.

God invites you to be still , experience gratitude and remember He’s in control. He alone makes you dwell in safety. You can lie down in peace, knowing you’re cared for and protected.

Tonight, make your evening one that aligns with your good intentions from this morning. Even five quiet minutes can change everything.
