Nicole wraps up this lesson on Job, who wanted to know “Why” things were happening to him, while God wanted him to know “Who” was in control of the universe. We may not want to hear that some of our questions won’t be answered the way we ask them, but we will be blessed if our suffering leads to a revelation of the God who created and controls everything. This complements our understanding of biblical wisdom: God has shown us enough to live a wise life, but he will remind us that our understanding is limited. We are humans. He, alone, is divine.
