Timeless Kingdomਨਮੂਨਾ

One time, Jesus told a group of Pharisees something interesting. He spoke to them about the coming kingdom of God, letting them know that it wasn’t something to look for or try to find. It was, in fact, already here! The kingdom of God is not like the kingdoms of this world. There are no geographic boundaries, no capital city, and no consulate. The kingdom is invisible. We are its ambassadors, and we must choose to focus our lives on the mission and the values of the kingdom. Still, until Jesus returns, the kingdom will not be found on any map. Why does that matter? Because it’s easy to get distracted.
While the kingdom is not something we can see with our physical eyes, there are so many things we can see, and they’re all vying for our attention. It’s our job to push through all the distractions and set our hearts on the things—and the people—Jesus cares about. Nehemiah understood this principle. God had given him the job of rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem, and he refused to be distracted. As a result, his legacy is a job well done. If you go to Jerusalem today, you can see parts of Nehemiah’s wall still standing.
So, don’t allow yourself to get distracted. God has a job for you to do in His kingdom right here and right now

About this Plan

When something is described as timeless, it’s something that remains relevant regardless of when it came to be. It has staying power and a lasting impact. We long for something timeless. But what if that desire in our hearts is pointing to something more profound? In this devotional, we’ll look at how the longing in our hearts for something good that lasts is an echo of the God we are longing for in this life.
