When You’re Desperate: 21 Days of Honest Prayerਨਮੂਨਾ

Desperate prayer changes what we care about. As we spend time with God, our focus shifts — from asking Him to meet our needs to wanting others to know Him too. These verses remind us: someone shared the good news with us, and now we carry it to others. You don’t need a title or a platform. God has placed each of us in a specific sphere of influence. What He’s looking for is a willing heart — one that’s ready to be sent, and burdened for others to be sent too.

Practice:

Take a moment today to think about where God has placed you: your family, your neighborhood, your workplace, your conversations.

Ask for a burden for the people around you to know God.

Ask for clarity to see where He’s already sending you.

Ask for boldness to share the good news when God provides an opportunity (because He will!)

Let your desperate prayers grow into a burden for others to know Him too.

Guided Prayer:

Heavenly Father,

You’ve said that the harvest is plentiful,

but the laborers are few.

I look at the world around me,

my family, my friends, my neighbors,

and I see so many who are lost,

I see so many who are broken.

Only You have the power to save them.

Today I ask You to send me out,

With the good news of Jesus.

Give me holy opportunities as I go,

To tell of Your great love and mercy,

and to accomplish your mission.

Give me a heart of compassion

For Your lost and wayward sheep.

I approach You as a humble servant,

and I’m ready for assignment.
