RETURN to ME: Reading With the People of God #16ਨਮੂਨਾ

Healing in the Return
Today’s readings from Hosea and Mark reveal a God who calls us back with both warning and hope. Hosea paints a vivid picture of what happens when we turn away—like a vine that withers without its source of life. Yet even amid judgment, God’s invitation remains tender and urgent: “Return, O Israel, to the Lord your God, for you have stumbled because of your iniquity” (Hosea 14:1 ESV). This isn’t just a call to repentance but to healing and restoration.
In Mark, we witness Jesus’ compassionate power to restore. He heals a woman who has suffered for years and raises a girl from death—reminding us that no brokenness is beyond God’s reach.
Where in your life do you sense the need for God’s healing touch? What might it look like to respond to His invitation and return with an open heart?
God’s call to “Return to Me” is both a challenge and a promise—His steadfast love meets us exactly where we are and invites us into new life.
