You Will Be My Witnessesਨਮੂਨਾ

Preaching with Power 🗣️🔥
After the Holy Spirit came, Peter stood up and spoke to the crowd.
Wait—Peter? The same guy who denied even knowing Jesus just weeks before?
Yep. But now he was filled with the Spirit—and something had changed.
He spoke with boldness and clarity. He told the crowd they were witnessing something big: The fulfillment of a promise God made through the prophet Joel— that God would pour out his Spirit on all kinds of people.
This was the beginning of something new.
🎥 Watch: Acts 2:14–21
📖 Observe
Grab your journal or notes app. Start with this question:
👉 What stood out to you from this scene, and why?
Now read:
📌 Acts 2:14–24
Write down:
- What God said would happen through the prophet Joel
- What Peter tells the crowd about Jesus
💭 Interpret
Let’s think deeper:
- The Bible tells us the story of God’s mission of redemption: from creation in Genesis 1 to new creation in Revelation. How does the event of Pentecost fit within God’s big story?
- In what ways does this passage make you think differently about how God can work through your life?
🌍 Apply
Peter didn’t have it all together. He had messed up big time. But God still chose him to speak.
God pours out his Spirit on all kinds of people—not just pastors or church leaders—so they can share the good news about Jesus.
That includes you.
🙏 Journal Prompt: Write a prayer asking God to pour out his Spirit on you so you can share his good news. Include specific people or groups that come to mind—maybe classmates, coworkers, or friends.
