After the Holy Spirit came, Peter stood up and spoke to the crowd.

Wait—Peter? The same guy who denied even knowing Jesus just weeks before?

Yep. But now he was filled with the Spirit—and something had changed.

He spoke with boldness and clarity. He told the crowd they were witnessing something big: The fulfillment of a promise God made through the prophet Joel— that God would pour out his Spirit on all kinds of people.

This was the beginning of something new.

Peter didn’t have it all together. He had messed up big time. But God still chose him to speak.

God pours out his Spirit on all kinds of people—not just pastors or church leaders—so they can share the good news about Jesus.

That includes you.
