A New Kind of Familyਨਮੂਨਾ

A Family You Belong To
When you hear the word “church,” what comes to mind? For many people, it’s a building. A service. Maybe even a stage and some songs.
But in the very beginning, the Church didn’t look like that at all. In Acts 2, we see a snapshot of the earliest followers of Jesus—and it’s not a schedule or a structure.
It’s a community.
These believers didn’t just attend something. They shared everything. They ate together, prayed together, supported each other, and worshiped with joy. They didn’t just believe the same thing—they belonged to one another.
Maybe your church experience hasn’t felt like this kind of family. Maybe it’s been more about rules, routines, or feeling invisible than about belonging and being known. That’s real, and you’re not alone.
But here’s the truth: this kind of family is possible. And it doesn’t have to start with the whole church. It can start right where you are, in your youth group. What if you helped make your group a place where people are seen, supported, and reminded that they don’t have to walk through life alone?
You don’t have to fix everything. But you can be the kind of friend, encourager, and presence that turns a group into a family.
You weren’t made to follow Jesus by yourself. You were made to do it in community.
