Multivitamins - Fuel Your Faith in 5-Minutes (Pt. 2)ਨਮੂਨਾ

Day 20: When God Doesn't Move The Way You Thought
How easy do you find it to focus on the positive things in life as opposed to the negative? Do you recognise that there is always something positive we can dwell on, even when things seem bleak?
Philippians 4:8 says – “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honourable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” (ESV)
Negative things obviously happen. In the midst of those trials, though, this verse encourages us to think about what is good. Maybe you don’t like your job right now and find yourself complaining about it. Perhaps you could try and replace that with thanksgiving for the fact that you have a job? Are your kids keeping you up at night? Give God praise for the beautiful family he’s blessed you with anyway.
There is always something honourable, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent, or praiseworthy to give God thanks for. Try it today!
Food for Thought: What’s one “praiseworthy” thing in your life you’ve been overlooking lately? Write it down and thank God for it today.
