God in 60 Seconds - Basic Bible Bitesਨਮੂਨਾ

King of kings
There are many kings in our world today. King Charles, King Frederick of Denmark. King Rama of Thailand and King Salman of Saudi Arabia. And right throughout history there have been many rich and powerful kings.
But the Bible makes an audacious claim about Jesus -that he is the king of kings.
Not just that Jesus is a king, or a good king, but the king of kings. The king who is above all kings of the earth.
"On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords."- Revelation 19:16 (ESV)
This is a remarkable claim, but the Bible says it because Jesus is ultimately more powerful and permanent than any earthly ruler. For unlike any other king, Jesus’ kingdom will never end. He is the king who loves his people and dies for them to bring forgiveness, freedom and eternal hope.
So the thousands of other kings who have lived may be powerful and influential - for a while - but Jesus is truly the king of kings.
