Time Reset for Christian Momsਨਮੂਨਾ

Day 2: Make Room for What Matters
Key Scripture:
“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
- Matthew 6:33 (ESV)
Devotional Thought:
We’re often busy, but not always effective. Busyness doesn’t equal fruitfulness.
As moms, the list never ends: meals, laundry, school runs, business tasks, and church obligations. But the deeper question is: Are these things aligned with what matters most to God and me in this season?
Time is a container, and what you put in first matters. If you fill your day with urgent but unimportant things, there’ll be no room left for what truly matters.
God doesn’t want you to do everything. He wants you to do the right things with peace and purpose. That means making room by pruning distractions and centring what truly brings life.
Reflection Questions:
- What have I been doing lately that is “urgent” but not truly important?
- What can I say no to this week to make room for what matters?
- What would “seeking first the kingdom” look like in my schedule?
Prayer:
Lord, help me not to be impressed by a full schedule. Teach me to prioritize what truly matters to You and my family. Give me wisdom to say no to the noise and yes to what aligns with Your purpose for my life. Amen
