God, Are You Testing Me?ਨਮੂਨਾ

One of the hardest parts of walking through a trial is the silence.
You’ve prayed, worshipped, and surrendered, yet it feels like God has gone quiet. But silence doesn’t mean abandonment. In fact, just like in a classroom, a teacher is often silent during the test; Not because they’ve left, but because they’ve already prepared you.
The silence is sacred. It’s a sign that what you need is already in you.
The teacher doesn’t disappear when the exam begins. They remain present, watching, and trusting you to apply what you’ve learned. It’s the same with God. He is near, even when you don’t feel Him. He’s not setting you up to fail. He’s giving you the space to stand in the truth He’s already planted in your heart.
Isaiah 30 reminds us that even in seasons of adversity, God still speaks, and when we’re ready, we’ll hear His voice guiding us again. That means you’re never left to wander aimlessly. The path may feel uncertain, but the Guide has already shown you the way. Trust His direction.
If you’re in a season where you can’t hear God like you used to, don’t panic. You haven’t lost His presence. You’re simply in a test where He’s allowing your faith to rise. The silence won’t last forever, but what He builds in you during it will.
Reflection
How do you usually respond to God’s silence? What might He be inviting you to trust about Him in this season?
