Devotional Thought:
Sin doesn’t make your life harder—it makes you dead. That’s what Paul says. You weren’t just off course—you were completely disconnected from the source of life. But here’s the good news: Jesus didn’t avoid death to bring you life. He entered it. He joined us in death—not because He sinned, but because we did. And now, by grace, He invites you to join Him in something new: life. Real life. The kind of life you were created for. Verse 10 says you are God’s workmanship—His art, His design. You were made for good things, for purpose, for beauty. You wouldn’t know how to live that kind of life on your own. But grace doesn’t just save you from something—it teaches you how to live again. You’ve been found, so you can finally start living.
Reflection Question:
What’s something about your life that could change if you really believed Jesus is trying to teach you how to live—not just get by?

About this Plan

The book of Ephesians is a letter written by Paul while imprisoned in Rome. He wrote to encourage believers in Ephesus, a wealthy city known for trade and idol worship. These Christians had once been far from God but were now learning what it meant to be found in Him. Paul reminded them of their new identity in Christ and called them to live differently—treating others well, speaking kindly, obeying, and standing strong in faith through life’s challenges. Join us in this 14-day devotional as we unpack Ephesians and what it means to follow Jesus!
