Day 2: A Prosperous and Healthy Soul

Raise your hand if you want to be in good health in every aspect of your being. Everyone across the world should raise their hand; this goes for me, too!

In 3 John, the apostle offers his readers his prayers for just that, including your soul’s well-being.

So, how can our soul be healthy today?

To begin, the soul is a person's inner being, distinct from the body. It includes life, emotions, desires, and spiritual longing.

Even though the soul is distinct from the body, it resides in the physical state. This means that they are interconnected, and balance is a key to optimal health. If the soul is out of balance, your physical health may also be impacted.

If you find your emotions out of alignment, it is essential to read God’s Word daily, especially out loud. You may also consider physical exercise since continual movement releases the feel-good hormones called endorphins.

Lastly, be mindful of the words you speak over your life. Do not speak or think any negative words or scenarios about yourself—EVER!

Thank you Lord for complete healing of our physical, emotional, and soul’s health today!
