Journey Through Exodus 1-19ਨਮੂਨਾ

Intro
Nicole introduces this course on Exodus 1-19. 400 years have passed since Joseph became administrator in Goshen, and God’s people are now in slavery to a Pharaoh who does not remember Joseph. The promise of numerous descendants is now a reality—but also the cause of anxiety for the king. In this course God’s people will be rescued from their misery … but not before a terrifying confrontation with all the forces Egypt could muster.
Intro
Nicole introduces this lesson in which we will see that God does care about the suffering of his people and remembers his covenant promises. You’ll begin to see how Scripture takes us from a covenant with a sojourning family to a covenant with an emerging nation. And that transition will take place in the crucible of brutal suffering in Egypt—a land that once favored the family of Joseph.
Covenant People Rescued: In the Text
Four centuries after Joseph’s prominence, God’s people are suffering oppression as slaves in Egypt. Now, in God’s time, he will call a rescuer.
