You Have a Kinsman Redeemer: A Study of Ruthਨਮੂਨਾ

Day 1: When It Feels Like God Is Far Away
Let’s begin with honesty: life doesn’t always turn out how we planned. Naomi’s story begins with loss, confusion, and bitterness. But what strikes me most is that even in her pain, God was already moving — already redeeming — through Ruth’s faithfulness.
Ruth left everything she knew to cling to Naomi and the God of Israel. That kind of surrender takes trust. But Ruth wasn’t walking blind. She was walking toward a faithful God, whether she could see Him clearly in her circumstances or not.
Maybe you’ve felt like Naomi—frustrated, discouraged, even forgotten. I want you to know that our Jesus hasn’t turned away from you. He’s not removed His faithful hand from your life. Redemption doesn’t always come all at once, but it does come. Let today be a fresh beginning of choosing trust, even when life feels undone.
Reflection: Is there a place in your life where you feel like God is distant? Now, say out loud all the ways you see Him at work, even if it’s just in this moment!
Prayer: Jesus, when I can’t see the way forward, I rest knowing that You are already moving. I choose to trust You even when things feel uncertain. I believe You are near, and that You are good.
