Imagine sitting at a red light, ready to move forward, but the car in front of you isn’t budging. The light turns green. You tap your horn gently. Nothing. You wait longer, your frustration building, then honk again. Still nothing—the driver is distracted. Finally, they notice, but it’s too late. The light turns red, and you’re stuck.

Now consider this: what if the driver blocking your progress isn’t someone else—but you? Unforgiveness, bitterness, and unresolved pain often become the traffic jams of the soul, keeping us from the freedom God has for us.

Jesus calls us to a life of grace. Forgiveness isn’t just a kindness we offer to others—it’s the key that unlocks our own freedom. When we forgive, we’re not excusing wrong behavior, but we’re choosing to release the burden of resentment. God’s forgiveness is deep and wide, casting our sins as far as the east is from the west. In the same way, He invites us to let go.
