The Cultivation of Consistencyਨਮੂਨਾ

Day 1: Consistency Requires Courage in Conflict
Devotional:
Peter was bold when things were calm declaring that he would die for Jesus (Luke 22:33). But when the heat was on, he denied Jesus three times. Conflict has a way of exposing the cracks in our convictions. Peter wasn’t lacking love for Jesus; he was lacking courage under pressure.
Conflict is where consistency is tested. Are you standing strong in your faith when it’s inconvenient or uncomfortable? When you’re in the crowd and your beliefs are questioned, do you fold like Peter or stand firm like Jesus?
The good news is that failure in a moment of conflict doesn’t disqualify you. Like Peter, your denial doesn’t define you your restoration does. God uses conflict to reveal where we need to grow.
✅ Reflection:
When have you backed down in the face of conflict? What steps can you take to stand firm next time?
Daily Prayer:
Lord, give me the courage to stand firm in the face of conflict. Strengthen my heart when I’m tested, and help me remain consistent even when it’s hard. I surrender my fears to You and trust that You are with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
