Find & Follow Jesus, Quarter 3ਨਮੂਨਾ

Devotional:
“As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish… so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:10–11 (NIV)
God’s Word is never wasted. Just as rain and snow nourish the ground, causing life to spring forth, so the Word of God goes out with purpose and power. It never falls flat. It never comes back void or lifeless.
At times, we may wonder if reading Scripture, sharing our faith, or praying God’s promises makes any real difference. In moments of doubt, Isaiah 55 reminds us that God is always working through His Word—whether we see results immediately or not.
God’s Word carries life, transformation, healing, and hope. It penetrates hearts, shifts circumstances, and plants seeds that may grow slowly, but surely. What He says will always accomplish what He intends.
So whether you’re clinging to a promise, sowing truth into your children, speaking encouragement to a friend, or reading Scripture in a quiet moment—take heart. God’s Word is at work. Trust the process, and believe in the unseen fruit. Let His Word soak your heart like rain on dry soil. It will bring growth, in His time and for His glory.
Prayer:
Practice praying prayers based on scripture and trust God will not let His words return empty. Pray scripture, especially God’s promises, over your family, your coworkers, your church, and your community.

About this Plan

Follow our quarterly plans to read through the entire Bible in one year, plus a bonus round through the Gospels and Romans. Each day, we encourage you to read the sections from both the Old Testament and the New Testament, and then set aside some time to write down, journal, or memorize the first posted verse from each day. Every week we provide an additional devotional for further discussion on that week's themes.
