Find & Follow Jesus, Quarter 3

DAY 21 OF 92

Devotional:

“Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. In a loud voice they were saying: ‘Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!’” Revelation 5:11–12 (NIV)

In Revelation 5, the Apostle John is given a glimpse into heaven’s throne room—a vision full of awe, worship, and the majesty of Christ. At the center of it all is the Lamb, Jesus, who was slain and now reigns in glory. The scene builds as countless angels and all of creation joins in one mighty chorus of worship: “Worthy is the Lamb!” This passage reminds us that worship is not just something we do; it’s the eternal posture of heaven. And we are invited to join in. Worship isn’t confined to a Sunday service—it’s the heart’s experience of the greatness of God and the sacrifice of Jesus. Every time we lift our voices in praise, surrender our hearts, or live in obedience, we echo heaven’s song.

When we feel overwhelmed, distracted, or discouraged, turning our eyes to the Lamb who overcame can realign our hearts. Worship lifts us out of the temporary and helps us live in view of eternity.

Prayer:

Pause and imagine joining that heavenly chorus. Pray this verse out loud and then add your own words of praise:

“Jesus, You are worthy—worthy of my praise, my life, my all. Help me to live each day in response to Your glory and grace. Let my life echo the worship of heaven. Teach me to see You as the center of everything. Amen.”

About this Plan

Find & Follow Jesus, Quarter 3

Follow our quarterly plans to read through the entire Bible in one year, plus a bonus round through the Gospels and Romans. Each day, we encourage you to read the sections from both the Old Testament and the New Testament, and then set aside some time to write down, journal, or memorize the first posted verse from each day. Every week we provide an additional devotional for further discussion on that week's themes.
