It Had to Break So I Could See

There’s something uncomfortable about standing still in a life that no longer fits. I kept asking God to open doors, but deep down, I knew I hadn’t dealt with the truths that would unlock the right ones. Being let go wasn’t a punishment; it was a wake-up call. I had tied my worth to titles, people-pleasing, and survival mode. God will lovingly, but firmly, strip away what you’re hiding behind to get you back to the core of who He called you to be.

It’s hard to look in the mirror when it reflects broken pieces, but God isn’t afraid of our mess; He meets us in it. This is the moment to be honest with yourself. To let God show you what needs to be surrendered so you can become who you were always meant to be. Don’t run from this moment. Let it search you. Let it stretch you. There’s power in admitting that you’ve been avoiding your own potential.
