Resting in God’s Presenceਨਮੂਨਾ

Well Resourced
All children of God have access to his glorious riches. Through a relationship with Christ, we are considered heirs to God’s abundant kingdom. This inheritance is for both the future and our present lives. We are recipients of our Father’s incredible generosity, and it shapes the way we see the world and how we interact with others. As we experience his lavish love and provision, we can offer the same generosity to those around us. He is so generous to us, and we can be generous to others.
We can give without worry as we confidently rely on God’s faithful provision. We can loosen our grip on what we have because we know that everything is a gift from him. Every single good thing in our lives comes from his hands. Our tendency to hoard our blessings or attribute them to our own good works is contradictory to God’s generosity and mercy. He provides for our every need, and we have the blessing of being stewards of the riches of his kingdom.
The same God who provided bread in the desert and water from a rock for the Israelites is the one who provides for our every need. From the beginning of time, God has provided for his people. His provision in our lives doesn’t always look how we want, but nonetheless we can trust him. As he graciously gives us what we need, we can partner with him by giving to others.
When you share your possessions, time, and energy, you are partnering with your kind Father. Your generosity reflects his heart to the world around you. It gives others a glimpse into his goodness, and it keeps your own heart soft. The more you listen for his instructions on how and when to give, the more sensitive you will be to his voice. Ask God today how you can grow in the area of generosity.
