Day 3: Flow, Don’t Force

Devotional Thought:

Trying to force spiritual growth will only leave you frustrated. God never intended for you to strive in your own strength. Instead, His Spirit flows. Your job is to abide; His job is to produce fruit. Just as rivers naturally flow from a source, the Holy Spirit overflows from within you when you’re surrendered. Surrender isn’t weakness—it’s power. Rest in His presence. Let go of striving. The flow begins when you stop fighting and start yielding.

Where have you been striving in your own strength instead of surrendering to the Spirit’s flow?

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, I give up my striving. Teach me to live from the river within. Amen.
