Face Your Fears 10 Day Devotionalਨਮੂਨਾ

DAY 1 | UNDERSTANDING FEAR
Fear is an emotion we all encounter. The New Oxford Dictionary defines fear as “an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous.” But fear becomes overwhelming when it takes our eyes off God. In these challenging times, fear and anxiety may feel more pronounced due to global divisions, uncertainties, and personal struggles. It seems that if you disagree with someone, you are now against that person.
Today, reflect on how fear has influenced your decisions and relationship with God. Identify the areas where fear has caused you to step back instead of moving forward in faith. Remember, God has not given you a spirit of fear but rather one of power, love, and a sound mind—a mindset anchored in Him.

GUIDED PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, thank You for being a God who gives us power, love, and a sound mind. I know You love and care for me. Please reveal the roots of my fears and help me replace them with Your peace and strength. As I cling to You, help me to trust in Your presence and guidance each day.
Amen.

About this Plan

Are your fears holding you back from God's best in your life? Do you recognize that your fear is robbing you of your faith and trust in God? We all deal with fear from time to time. God has given us this critical emotion for good reasons. But there are those times when our regular and normal fears become illogical and unreasonable. They lead us to make bad decisions that only make things worse. God is with you and HIS perfect love casts out fear.
