Man Upਨਮੂਨਾ

Week 4: Be a Man in Community
Friends look out for each other. They keep each other honest and accountable. They’re not afraid to stick their finger in a friend’s face and tell them honestly they’ve gone off track. A wise man desires such friends. It takes an enormous amount of focus and work to maintain such an atmosphere amongst friends.
This is the power of friendships – honesty and openness. It’s foolish to have close friends and not build trust and security to the point of transparency – take advantage of your close friends by being open with them about your struggles, insecurities, etc. We were never meant to go it alone.
Practical Steps
- In the next week, talk about this devotional with your closest friends and ask them to pray about going to a new level of accountability and friendship.
