Man Upਨਮੂਨਾ

Week 3: Be a Man in Your Work
Paul here is explaining that when we work hard, we have no reason to be ashamed. This is a great time to remind ourselves that one day we will be face to face with God, our creator, and will need to give an account of all we’ve done on the earth. This scripture is applicable is such a context, encouraging us to keep the end in mind with our work, and do all we can to please God with our work.
This is especially important in our work/ministry to those who don’t know Jesus. We need to be sure we are rightly handling the word of truth Paul says. We will be held accountable for how we minister to others, not coercing them or threatening them with fire and brimstone, but accurately explaining the Gospel message. This doesn’t mean we “sugarcoat” anything, but it does mean we seek balance in our message. There is a Hell, but there is also Hope.
