More Than Moneyਨਮੂਨਾ

Let God's Word take root
God's word has the power to change lives, but Jesus warned that it can be choked out. The worries and distractions of life, the deceitfulness of wealth, and the desires for other things all tempt us to put money above God.
The condition of our hearts greatly influences how we receive and respond to God. If our hearts are preoccupied with the pursuit of wealth, material possessions, security and identity, it will hinder our relationship with him. God didn’t create wealth for it to replace himself in our lives.
But when we trust God completely and give him his rightful position of first place in our hearts, we create fertile ground for his word to grow in our hearts. The truth is, we can give and not have love for God - but we cannot love God, and not be givers.
God is the ultimate giver, giving us his one and only son as a sacrifice for our sins. Are you ready to let go of any grip money has on you and make room for God to reign supreme in your heart with no competitors?
Pray: Lord, I don’t always recognize when money has replaced you in my life, but I want you to be first place in my heart. I need the help of the Holy Spirit so that my tithing, saving, spending, and offerings reveal that you are the only King in my heart. Forgive me for the times when I did not invite you into the financial decisions I’ve made in the past and help me to manage your finances as a faithful steward. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
