Live Different: The Values That Set Us Apartਨਮੂਨਾ

Different Through Kindness
Kindness is more than just being nice. To be nice is to just follow societal norms, like saying “Have a nice day” or “Hope you’re doing well.” These are often flippantly said without much thought.
Kindness goes deeper. Kindness is actually caring about others and how your actions can impact them for the better. It’s like seeing someone as a fellow child of God and interacting with them in accordance. In being kind, you actually have the goal of improving something about a person’s life, even if it’s just in that moment.
Kindness involves more than the niceties of passing by with a smile and a wave. It’s stopping even for just a moment to lend a hand, give a hug, speak words of forgiveness, gently suggest a different path, or patiently listen. It’s not something we do in addition to showing God’s love - it’s a key part of it!
As you go about your day, make it a goal to be more than nice. Consider ways you can actively be kind to those with whom you interact, sharing the same love and kindness God has shown us.
