Stop Saying You Are “Bad With Money”

DAY 1 OF 3

Day 1: The Truth About Money Management

Have you ever felt like some people are just naturally "good" with money while others aren't? This belief is more common than you might think, but it's not what Scripture teaches us.

When God gave instructions about managing resources in the Bible, He didn't divide people into "naturally good" and "naturally bad" stewards.

Instead, He gave clear instructions that anyone could follow. He expected His people to learn and develop their management skills.

Think about the Proverb we just read.

"Know well the condition of your flocks" isn't a talent you're born with - it's a skill you develop through careful attention and practice.

God isn't just telling us to magically be good with our resources; He's instructing us to learn how to manage them well.

This is incredibly freeing!

It means that if you're struggling with money management, it's not because you're somehow defective or “less than”.

You simply haven't yet developed the skills. Just like learning to play an instrument or master a sport, managing money is a skill that can be developed with practice and dedication.

So today, let this truth sink in: God has given you the ability to learn and grow in your financial management. You're not stuck where you are. With His guidance and your willingness to learn, you can develop these skills.
