The Shift: Part 3ਨਮੂਨਾ

Trusting God's Plan
Let’s be real—waiting on God’s plan is hard. Especially when it feels like nothing is happening or, worse, everything is falling apart. But this verse reminds us that God’s plans for us are always good, even when we can’t see the full picture.
Jeremiah spoke these words to the Israelites when they were in exile in Babylon. They were far from home, feeling hopeless, and wondering if God had abandoned them. His message wasn’t an instant fix—it was a promise. God told them they’d be in Babylon for 70 years, but after that, He would restore them.
Sometimes we treat this verse like a feel-good quote for when things aren’t going our way. But it’s deeper than that. God’s plan for you isn’t just about your comfort—it’s about your purpose. It might involve waiting, hardship, or even disappointment, but it will always lead to something greater than you imagined.
The Israelites had been taken captive by the Babylonians because of their disobedience to God. Jeremiah’s letter was a reminder that even in the middle of their punishment, God hadn’t forgotten them. His plan for their restoration was already in motion.
Think about a situation in your life where you feel stuck or unsure of what’s next. Instead of trying to force a solution, spend time in prayer and ask God to show you what His plan might be. Write down one step of obedience you can take today, even if it’s small.
