See Clearly: A Holy Week Devotionalਨਮੂਨਾ

Wednesday: Blinded by Betrayal
Judas saw opportunity but missed the value of Christ.
Key Verse: “Then one of the twelve, whose name was Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests and said, ‘What will you give me if I deliver him over to you?’ And they paid him thirty pieces of silver.” — Matthew 26:14-15
Judas had every opportunity to see Jesus clearly. He walked with Him, heard His teaching, and witnessed His miracles. Yet, his vision was distorted by greed and unmet expectations. He saw Jesus not as Lord but as a means to an end.
Betrayal often happens when we stop seeing Jesus as our greatest treasure. Like Judas, we can be near Him yet still be blinded by our own desires.
Jesus, however, saw Judas clearly. He knew the betrayal was coming and still extended love. His vision was not clouded by bitterness but filled with grace.
Reflection Questions:
- Are there things in your life that compete for your devotion to Christ?
- How can you ensure that you see Jesus as the ultimate treasure?
