Anything Goesਨਮੂਨਾ

Think about a time when you thought something would make you happy, but instead, it made you miserable. Maybe it was something like eating all the candy in the pantry in one sitting or something like compromising on a personal boundary. No matter what it is, it’s important to remember that not every impulse or desire we have leads to good. Real freedom means being able to recognize what’s beneficial for us and what’s not. It means being able to confidently say no to things that won’t lead to good. Even if we’re free to say yes, we choose not to in the end. Why? Because real freedom used wisely will lead us toward what’s good for us.
Today, write down one choice you're facing. Ask yourself: Is this going to lead me toward good? If it is, consider how you can move in that direction. And if not, use your freedom to change course and make a new decision.
