5 Days of Refuge in God’s Armsਨਮੂਨਾ

His Goodness
I have learned that grief is not my enemy. I have learned to fully lean into every emotion that comes with grief. The truth is that when I lost my husband, I didn’t know how to reset, how to live without him, or how to raise our little baby alone. I didn’t have a manual telling me what to do. But God has never left our side.
I held on tightly to God, and all I knew back then was that he is good and would continue to be good even in the worst circumstances. In moments of desperate prayer, I could hear him whisper, I will work all things out for your good. And I held on to that promise. Today, four years later, “all things” is a promise. Stand on it today.
Prayer: Jesus, thank you for restoring everything. Thank you for never leaving me and for filling my life with your joy. Please help me continue to seek your face and always have the certainty that you are good no matter the circumstances.
