Questions to consider:
- What role does fear play in overcoming your mental health issues? What are you afraid of? How does the truth that Timothy reminds us of change how you view the fears that currently reside in your life?
- In Joshua 1, Israel is about to step into the Promised Land, which is currently inhabited by the Canaanaties - an enemy of God. What does God say to Joshua numerous times throughout chapter 1? Be strong and courageous. How do you need to be courageous and bold in your own life so that you may better step into the promises God has in store for you? Slay the fear and step into God’s promises boldly.
- Underline and highlight Romans 8:15. What are you a slave to? What mental shift needs to happen in order for you to be released from that slavery?
- Pray.
