Day 1: The Greatest Discovery – You Are Included in Christ

Think back to a discovery that changed your life—whether it was realizing a hidden talent, learning something new about your heritage, or uncovering a life-changing truth. Discoveries can shape our path, and the greatest discovery you can ever make is that Jesus is the Christ and you are included in Him. This reality already exists even if you are unaware of it.

Paul’s letter to the Romans highlights how humanity’s story began with Adam. Adam was created with an authority that was inclusive. Adam’s disobedience brought sin and death into the world, and because of his position of authority, humanity was included in his downfall. Our destiny and identity changed. We became sinners under the rule of sin and death.

But the story didn’t end there. The good news of the Gospel is that just as Adam’s sin brought death, Jesus’ obedience brings life. Jesus, as God’s anointed King, represents and includes us in His victory. By His grace, we are no longer defined by Adam’s failure but by Christ’s triumph.

This discovery reshapes your identity. You are no longer condemned but justified. No longer enslaved to sin but alive in Christ. No longer separated from God but embraced by His grace. The reality of being “in Christ” is not something you earn—it’s a gift of divine inclusion, given freely through God’s love and mercy.
