Praying Words of Wisdom From the Bibleਨਮੂਨਾ

God of Wisdom
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." (Proverbs 3:5)
Prayer
Most High God, You are Creator of the heavens and earth. There is none like You. With Your voice the universe took its shape. Every molecule is held in place by Your command. Great are You, Lord.
We praise You, Jesus, for You are the Word from the beginning. The triune God: God the Father, God the Son, God the Spirit.
Holy Spirit, give us a rightful fear, awe, and reverence of Your majesty and the weight of Your holiness. We bow low in Your Presence for we are standing on holy ground. Grow in us a wholehearted trust in You, our Maker.
Help us to seek wisdom—not earthly wisdom, but Your wisdom from above. Help us to recognize our finite life before One so great.
Your Words will stand forever, while the words of mankind float away at day’s end. Help us trust You, lean on Your Word, and follow You in all our ways. Help us to anchor ourselves in You and You alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
