Daily Bible Reading— March 2025, God’s Strengthening Word: Turning to God in Prayerਨਮੂਨਾ

Introduction
Psalm 40:1–11: This psalm celebrates what God has done for the author. While many of the psalms for help demonstrate a movement from despair to praise, this psalm begins by praising God and concludes with the writer expressing trust in God’s love and mercy.
Today’s Key Verse: Psalm 40:11
LORD, I know you will never stop being merciful to me. Your love and loyalty will always keep me safe.
Reflect
The psalm writer begins with an acknowledgment of waiting “patiently for the LORD’s help.” Have you ever experienced a time when you needed to wait with patience for God’s help? What were your thoughts at that time?
Pray
Merciful Lord, your love and loyalty keep me safe. I know that you listen when I pray to you and that you hear my cries when I call to you for help. Thank you for your steadfast love and faithfulness. Amen.
Tomorrow’s Reading
Psalm 61: Finding safety with God.
