Help I Need Disciplineਨਮੂਨਾ

Love in discipline is the original intent and heart of the Father. A daddy’s girl am I. Among seven siblings, we were all raised with a generous measure of discipline, a reflection of love rather than mere correction. Just as our earthly father disciplined us to shape our character, so does God discipline His children as an expression of His deep care and affection. Proverbs 3:11-12 reminds us of this truth: “My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline, and do not resent His rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those He loves, as a father the son He delights in.” If God didn’t love us, He would leave us to our own ways, allowing us to drift aimlessly.
Let me encourage you to embrace this divine act of love. This embrace sounds easier said than done. However, I promise you that the more you receive and apply discipline, the easier it will be to receive discipline. Remember that discipline from the Father is not about punishment; it’s about growth and transformation. When you accept His guidance, you’ll witness growth and change—one step closer to becoming who He created you to be. Let love motivate you today. Trust in His discipline, knowing it’s rooted in His love for you.
Prayer:
Father, I embrace Your discipline. I will no longer rebel or withdraw but to trust in Your love for me. Thank You for loving me enough to correct me when I go astray. Your discipline reminds me that I have value and that I am cherished. Lord, I desire to keep growing and transforming into the person You have called me to be. Shape me, refine me, and lead me according to Your will. Thank You for Your unwavering love and patience with me. I surrender to Your guidance, Lord. Thank You for loving me unconditionally. In Jesus Name!
