Don’t Waste the Wild: Discovering God's Plan in the Seasons That Test Usਨਮੂਨਾ

Being Transformed by God
“Life’s not about the destination, but the journey.” It sounds like a phrase you’d see on a refrigerator magnet or reposted on Facebook by your Aunt Susan, and it’s easy to roll your eyes at it. But there’s some truth to this statement. Hear us out.
God called Israel to be a holy nation, set apart for his purposes. But that holiness doesn’t just happen overnight. God used their journey through the wilderness to develop that holiness, that fortitude of heart and character The wilderness wasn’t just a physical journey but a spiritual one.
Just like the Israelites, our transformation rarely happens overnight. It’s like training for a marathon. You can’t just go and run one without training – it requires lots of time, dedication, and discomfort. There’s pain and sacrifice along the way. But all of it leads to a significant accomplishment in the end. In the same way, the difficulties we go through in life can produce more strength, character, and faith.
So as you walk through a wilderness season, remember that it’s not just about the destination – it's about what happens along the way. Are you in the wilderness right now? Instead of thinking about the finish line or the destination, talk to God about the ways he may be shaping you in the middle of it.

About this Plan

When God led the Israelites out of Egypt, he didn’t take them on the shortest route to the Promised Land. Instead, he guided them through the wilderness, knowing the journey would prepare their hearts and deepen their trust in him. In this 7-day plan, discover how God worked in their hearts while they were in the wilderness and how he may be working in yours through your own wilderness in life.
