DAY 3: DISCIPLESHIP
DAY 3: DISCIPLESHIP
"Discipleship starts by doing life together"
Jesus in his 3 years of ministry chose 12 friends to walk with. 12 different people, different perspectives and personalities but one goal- to know God and make Him known.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations”
We are called to make disciples, establish biblical foundations, and equip believers to minister. Discipleship is a priority. It is where we begin and where we end.
We are all called to make disciples for Jesus. The heart of the church is for people to know God and make disciples. Jesus calls us to be people who will live an explanatory life modeled after himself. He did great works and performed miracles signs and wonders. As his disciples, he is inviting us to do mighty exploits in the mission field he is entrusting us to. He has commissioned every follower to go out and share the good news with others, regardless of language, culture, ethnic group or denomination.
Discipleship is not exclusive. It’s an open invitation to walk in a relationship with the Lord and Savior of our lives. This journey is not reserved for a select few but is a calling for everyone who follows Him
Matthew 28:19,20
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
