We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to Godਨਮੂਨਾ

Day 62 of 365
In Leviticus 16, the Day of Atonement is instituted, where the high priest enters the Holy of Holies to make a sacrifice on behalf of the people. This ritual foreshadows Jesus, our eternal High Priest, who would later enter not with the blood of animals but with His own, bringing redemption to all. The Holy Spirit reveals the depth of this sacrifice, leading us to surrender our hearts fully in response to Christ’s profound love.
In Mark 8, Jesus calls us to “deny ourselves and take up our cross.” This isn’t a one-time decision; it’s a daily surrender, a way of life that only the Spirit empowers us to live. It’s an invitation to die to self-interest, trusting that true life is found in giving everything to God.
Today, ask the Spirit to help you live with a surrendered heart. Reflect on Christ’s sacrifice for you, and let this remembrance move you to offer every part of your life to Him, knowing that true freedom lies in following Him.
