One a Dayਨਮੂਨਾ

As you walk through the book of Psalms, some days will be short readings. Make sure you take time to meditate on words or phrases. Ask God continually, “Why is this in the Bible, and what do you want me to see?” I always try to follow five steps in my reading time.
First, I pray for God’s INSPIRATION to understand His Word. I don’t believe we can understand it without Him.
Then, I take the time for OBSERVATION. Answer, “What do I see?”
Third is INTERPRETATION - “What does it mean?”
And only after doing those steps then do I ask for APPLICATION - “What does it mean to me?” I always like to end with a prayer for MOTIVATION to do whatever He calls me to do.

About this Plan

Welcome to a plan that is designed to go slower together. We wanted to take things slow to allow for better meditation - one chapter a day covering every major division of the Bible. We staggered the order as well in order to keep things fresh. We have chosen a book from the Torah, historical books, the poetic writings, and the Prophets from the Old Testament. And, in the New Testament we have a Gospel, Pauline epistle, Hebrews, and the Revelation.
