Living in Increase (Part 11) - Increase in Joyਨਮੂਨਾ

Thankful for Peace
Thankfulness and peace go hand-in-hand. Without gratitude, it is impossible to experience true peace. Much of the stress we experience comes from comparison, materialism, and pride. When we constantly try to keep up with those around us, it’s impossible to experience peace.
Philippians 4 tells us that instead of worrying, we should pray. A part of this prayer is giving thanks to God for what He has done in the past and what we have now. I think there is something beautiful about thanking God in advance for what He’s going to do, but it is also essential to thank God for what He’s done. Remembering the answered prayers and victories won in the past will fill you with faith for the future.
If you need peace today, thank God for all He’s done for you. Peace will surely follow.
